Hi all, well happily, it looks like I spoke too soon when we thought my vcr was dead. Mom kept playing with it, and got it to play without it being hooked up to the cable, so she thought there was still something wrong, and so did I. She at first had to move a wire over and change it back for her cable to work. Then she rememberedshe had 2 extra cords, and hooked them up and bingo! the old vcr started working with the cable again. And she discovered this after she had bought a new vcr. We have the old vcr hooked up, and we're going to hold on to the new vcr, so when the old one really does quit on us, we'll have it. We're just so use to the old one, and we're so happy there's still life in it and it still works, hurray!
